Day 13 in the hospital

It's hard to believe that I have been here for almost 2 weeks. Things are pretty much the same as they were when we got here. Babies all look good and their heartbeats are "textbook" according to the nurses. My cervix on the other hand is still short and Baby A is laying right on it preventing it from getting any longer. This pretty much means that I am here until the babies are born. The nurses have been taking great care of me and the dietary staff brings me extra snacks throughout the day.

A huge thank you to all of my friends at Lord & Taylor for the extremely generous gifts and the handmade paper diapers with the notes in them. It was great to read all of the notes from everyone. Some of my personal favorites were the Paris Hilton "That's Hot" diapers and the Ugg diaper.

We took a few pictures last night and as you can see, I am starting to show the 50lb weight gain. Also, Kevin has not shaved in weeks. I am hoping he will shave by the time the babies are here, but he is still very handsome - even with all the facial hair.

Patty, you look fantastic! We will miss you on Saturday but no worries, Mike and I will be there bright and early on Sunday to visit and to bring you as much of the "stuff" that we can fit! Any snacks you're craving??? Let me know and they're yours! Take care of yourself and the Becklets! Love you :)

Well folks, Kevin's facial hair meets with Nana's approval! She thought he looked sooo handsome! And, of course, Aunt Ellie loves your looks both ways!!!!
Patty - you look sooo great!!!!! And I just love your blogs. I check in just about every day to see if there's an update.
We love you!

Thanks for the update, Patty. Love your pictures; you look great! Jeff is correct: from the front you hardly look pg...now from the side-view...different story; it looks like you've got about 3 babies in that beautiful belly! Oh, right! you do!!
Keep on keepin' on! We're all praying for at least 6 more weeks.

It's a little known fact that I'm an amateur Groinocologist and I can help you with that Baby Aplha who won't get off your crevice. Since you are bed-ridden I'm sure you have seen the info-mercial for the inverted, hang by your ankles back stretcher thingy. Get one of them and hang from it until Alpha, Beta and Chartreuse get off your crevice. Pretty soon they'll all be clinging to your uvula and won't wanna fall out. Glad I could help.
