28 weeks

We have surpassed the 28 week mark which was one of our goals - next goal is 30 weeks. Nothing new on the status of the triplets. Still on bedrest in the hospital, cervix is still shortened, our boy is still trying to peak out to see what he has to look forward to. I was having some contractions today so they kept me on the monitor to see if I needed some additional meds to help control them but after chugging 2 big cups of water, they seem to have subsided. We have an ultrasound on Thursday to see how much the babies have grown. We can't wait to see how big they have gotten. I am still gaining weight but they say that I am not gaining too much. My face is getting really puffy and without any makeup, it's a little scary. Here is my 28 week picture.

The Geisels were here yesterday and we had a nice visit. Thanks to Chris and Dave for driving here with all the goodies - crib, dresser, changing table, candy, magazines, movies, etc. And, McKenna and Hope were their usual adorable selves. Hope kept asking if the babies came out yet and McKenna had a great time playing with the rubber gloves. We had dinner together at the hospital and it was really nice to have the company for a few hours. Here is a picture of McKenna and Hope from last night.

You look awesome! I am so glad you made it to 28 weeks and will keep praying for a little more time. Remember the comments you make about your "boy" now. I guarantee alot of those same traits will surface when he is a toddler. Emily had her own agenda when I was carrying her and to this day, it's the same way. I am marveled by how much her "personality" came out in womb.
Love to you both,
The Ford

Ok, it's official that Joanne, Jenna and I are now so bored at work without you that I am forced to read the Beck Baby Blog during working hours just to feel your presence! Great to hear that things are "text book," but sorry to hear that you aren't able to escape the hospital, at least for a few days. Thinking about you lots, and miss you terribly!
Love,
Phillip

Hey, it's Keri...Joanne told me that you had a blog so I had to check it out. You look great! Hang in there. I'll be thinking of you guys. Kristen and I will definitely have a few beers for you and maybe even bring back a little luck from the Blarney Stone for you! Can't wait to meet the little ones. Take care.
