25 Weeks

We had 2 appointments on Tuesday. Kevin did not go with me because I thought they were going to be routine with no ultrasounds. I was surprised when they did do a ultrasound to check the heartbeats. I can't believe how much they are growing. She did not estimate weights - she will do that at our next appointment on Feb. 6th. All 3 babies looked great and their heartbeats were all in the 150 - 160 range.

Kevin and his Dad painted the nursery a light yellow last week. We are doing a bumble bee theme - really cute. Chris and Margo and I went to a craft store that was closing after Christmas and they had so much bumble bee stuff - so we cleaned them out and have a bunch of stuff for the room. Kevin put together 2 of the cribs last night. It is a little overwhelming to see the cribs up. I will post pictures of the nursery once it is completed. I've already hired my Mother as the decorator. You know her....she'll have the place beautiful with a yard of fabric and a few scraps of ribbon. I can't wait!

My last day of work is tomorrow. I will miss everyone at work. They have all shared this entire journey with me and have been so supportive. I need the rest though. Each day it gets tougher and tougher to get comfortable and walking is a chore. Thankfully, Kevin got a Wii for Christmas and the guitar for Guitar Hero rests nicely on my belly and the babies seem to like the rock music! I'm getting really good at it so if anyone is up for a Guitar Hero challenge, let me know!

Looking at the side profile of your son, I think he looks just like Kevin!

Patty, if Guitar Hero and Wii bowling are your only source of exercise, you are in serious trouble. You could at least waddle out to the kitchen for a PopTart now and then.
