One year ago yesterday, I was admitted to the hospital for bedrest. When I was admitted, they told me I could deliver any day. All weekend I have been watching the Becklets and can't believe how far we have come and how incredibly lucky we have been. Dr. John (our pediatrician) was over last night (to play poker...I lost $5!) and couldn't believe how big they have gotten since our last visit with him in mid December. Daniel is now pulling himself up to standing and is crawling all over the place. Anna is not afraid of anything and will crawl over whatever is in her way and she is working really hard on pulling herself up to standing too. Kathryn still likes to sit back and watch how things work out for Daniel and Anna before she makes her move. She is still working on crawling forward but manages to get around very well by either rolling, crawling backward or moving side to side.
We are phasing out the baby food and they are trying new things everyday. Some of the new things they have tried and love are yogurt, meatballs (thanks to Aunt Ellie for the great recipe!), macaroni, chicken noodle soup and even the ice cream that I let them try tonight. They are addicted to cheerios and will eat those all day long if we let them.
Believe it or not, we are starting to plan their 1st Birthday party. I am having a hard time believing it but am very excited for the big party! Here are some pics from this week....

Thanks for the new pics.

It IS hard to believe how quickly this year has gone; I clearly remember you telling us you were being admitted to the hospital for bedrest. You were such a GOOD "mommy-in-waiting"--I have no doubt that's why these precious 3 are doing so well. Not to mention how helpful & supportive the "daddy-in-waiting" was through those long, cold days--thanks, Kevin!

I could just take a bite out of each one of them, they're so darn CUTE!!! LOVE the overalls, too!

I loved the pictures, but especially the one of them playing together! (Glad they like the meatballs!!!! Can't believe that would appeal to babies!!!!!!) Gosh, those little ones look like such fun! It truly is a miracle how far things have progressed from a year ago!

They are growing way too fast! What a huge differance a year makes! Next time we are traveling to Scranton we should get together! After RSV season of course! LOL Maybe this summer?

I LOVE the overalls! Can Aiden have them when Daniel grows out of them?!?! If you only realized that first day in the hospital how much fun this year would be for you FIVE...!!

Your pictures take me back. I didn't have a kitchen table the first three years. Just three high chairs in a row. I ate at the counter! My triplets are six and a half now. Time really flys.
