10 months old!

(front to back: Daniel, Anna, Kathryn)

It is hard to believe, but the Becklets are 10 months old! Every day is a new adventure and it is amazing to watch them grow and learn new things. I realized that I never posted their stats after their last pediatrician appointment so here they are...

Daniel weighs 20lb 14oz and is 30 inches long - definitely a Beck, tall and skinny. His weight is in the 56th(ish) percentile and his height is in the 90th percentile compared to other 9 month old boys. He is very strong and loves to run around in the walker. He also needs to know where Mommy is at all times. If I leave the room, he follows me until I pick him up. He still has 2 bottom teeth but based on the overnight crying we're pretty sure there are more to follow very shortly. He can probably beat anyone in an army crawl race especially if they are racing to the TV remote control or the computer cords. He has perfected the pincer grasp and can feed himself but still has to learn that he needs to chew his food before trying to swallow it. He loves his sisters and is always crawling over to them and kissing them or patting their heads - so cute to watch.

Anna weighs 20lb 7 oz and is 29 inches long. Both her height and weight are in the 70th percentile range compared to other 9 month old girls. Anna has always been our fighter and doesn't want to be left behind. In true Anna fashion, she has completely skipped the army crawl phase and has gone straight to crawling on her hands and knees with her belly off the ground. She is very competitive and will race Daniel to the hardwood floor - although once on the hardwood has a hard time getting anywhere because her pants slide on it. She also wants whatever toy her sister is playing with and will crawl over and take it right out of Kathryn's hands. She just learned how to feed herself and is getting better with each meal. She is very ticklish and has the best laugh which is infectious. As soon as she starts to laughs, the whole family joins in. Her favorite spot is still in Daddy's arms and she will fall asleep within minutes of being there.

Kathryn weighs 20lb 4oz and is 29 inches long. Like Anna, her height and weight are in the 70th percentile range compared to other 9 month old girls. Since day 1 she has been our girly girl. She loves to smile and has the highest pitched squeals - based on this, we think she will one day be a soprano singer. She is working so hard on learning to crawl forward. You can watch her and see how frustrated she is because Daniel and Anna are crawling all around and she can only go backward and gets stuck under the sofa, but she is really close to moving forward. She has 3 teeth and is the best at feeding herself and can pick up the smallest pieces and get them into her mouth. She is pretty quite and likes to sit and watch her brother and sister get into trouble. She is learning to hold her ground and not let Anna take her toys. She loves to talk on the phone and gets so excited when Daddy comes home from work.

Daniel wins this race to the hardwood floor...

I don't think they can get any more BEAUTIFUL! But, can you say: "Trouble in River City, with a capital 'T'"?! OMG! They are going to be something else; you can just tell, already! We'd better start clearing things away in time for their next visit....

Love to B5

They are so cute! I love the picture of Daniel crawling over his sister! Aiden does that all the time.
