Thank you for all of the emails and phone calls reminding me that I have not updated the blog in over 2 weeks. I honestly try to update more often but I seem to be spending most of my time playing guitar hero or watching tv....ahhh, remember those days??? I haven't played guitar hero since June!
The Becklets turned 6 months old last week and both Kevin and I are amazed at the changes that we notice on a daily basis. We are so close to sleeping thru the night. (Woohoo!!) For the past week, two of the babies have been sleeping from about 8pm to 6:30am. There seems to always be one that still gets up to eat, but the guilty party changes each night. We are also working on getting a better nap schedule. Daniel and Kathryn are pretty good and we can put them in their cribs while they are still awake and within a few minutes, they will be asleep. Anna, on the other hand, doesn't want to miss out on anything, so she fights falling asleep at each nap time and at bedtime. I have been trying to let her cry it out, but it breaks my heart, so I usually give in after 15 minutes. I am determined to get her to a point where she can put herself to sleep, so I have started setting the timer for her cry it out sessions. I will add a few minutes each day until we get to the point where she (and I) can do it.
Rolling over update: We are still waiting for Kathryn to roll from her belly to her back, but she actually has rolled from her back to her belly! I put her on the floor mat and she was so mad because she didn't want to be there, that she rolled herself over within a few seconds. Daniel rolls all the time now from his belly to his back and Anna rolled once that we saw and is working really hard to do it again.
They are really starting to notice each other and are always looking at each other. When we put them down on the floor together, they automatically reach out to touch each other. It is so cute to watch.
Big game tonight...Eagles vs. Cowboys. Kevin is a Cowboys fan and I am an Eagles fan, so it should be an interesting night. Go Eagles!!

Such blessings! I'm in awe every time I see their pictures and I look at them countless times between new posts. I know time is short for you, but please know how much we appreciate the pictures and clever commentary.

Wow......you've raised 3 babies all on your own for 6 months now! Congrats to the Becklets!! And to their awesome Mommy & Daddy!!!
