We have really been trying to enjoy these last few days of summer. We have had so much rain that we haven't been able to get outside as much as the Becklets would have liked. As soon as a door is opened or their shoes are in view or if someone says the word outside, they are on their way to the door. They prefer to play out in the back yard in the sandbox, with the water table or on the new swing set, but it is really hard to keep up with all 3 of them in the backyard since our fence does not go the entire way around the yard. We had a piece of railing left over from when our house was built so we can slide that across the opening on the front porch which gives the Becklets a great playroom in front because it is enclosed and covered. We can even go out there when it is raining for a little fresh air.
We have lots of teeth coming in....they all have between 4 and 6 teeth coming in at the same time, which makes for some cranky moments in our house. We have also perfected our walking and are working on running, climbing and going down stairs, so lots of bumps and bruises.
I am 16 weeks pregnant now and can't believe how fast it seems to be going. Everything is going along great. It is still hard for me to get used to being pregnant with only 1 baby....a lot less stressful, and very little attention with the doctors. By this time with the Becklets, we had had numerous ultrasounds and lots and lots of appointments with our doctor and a high risk doctor. This time, we have only had 1 ultrasound and only 3 appointments with our regular doctor. No need for a high risk doctor at this point. Kevin and I are debating over whether or not to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We couldn't wait to find out with the Becklets, but this time I would like to wait and be surprised but Kevin really wants to find out. We have until September 24th to decide, but I'm hoping we decide not to find out!

Patty, you look wonderful and I am so glad that this pregnancy is being much "kinder" to you. I know the decision is difficult on whether to find out if you are having a boy/girl, and I had said to Bobby when Aiden was on his way, since it was our last, we were not going to find out, but I had to. Maybe it's my impatience! I guess in the end it doesn't matter. Just as long as we had a healthy baby! I'm hoping that you have a boy so that daniel will have a brother :)
I forgot to ask when your due date is. It's February right?
